A bit about me...

I am a recent Computer Science graduate from the University of British Columbia. I enjoy learning about new technologies and developing applications in React, Python, Tailwind and MySQL and more!

My first internship was at Farm Credit Canada as a Software Developer. I gained lots of experience working with Java and SpringBoot. I also learnt a lot about the finance and agriculture industry. As someone with no previous experience in either of these, it was super cool!

My second internship was at the University of British Columbia as an Associate Business Analyst, working on the Workday Student ERP implementation. I made configurations to key UBC business areas, contributing to the Go Live in February 2024.

My most recent work experience was working as a Full-Stack Developer for the University of British Columbia on a medical research project that allowed healthcare professionals to communicate with patients and vice-versa.

Outside of coding, I enjoy playing hockey, disc golf and participating in hackathons. Feel free to reach out!

Jumpseat allows users to find flight deals given their personal criteria. While most travel sites require strict parameters to search for trips, Jumpseat helps you find trips based on what you value. Wether it's searching by price or by location, Jumpseat can help!

AI Insurance Policy Checker

The Insurance Policy Checker was made for BFL Canada and is designed to take expiring and renewal insurance policies and compare them using OCR and highlight the differences. The tool includes a company wide team functionality and stats graphs using React charts.

Healthenow.com

Healthenow is a website I developed in partnership with Dr. Barbara Marcolin to allow healthcare professionals to communicate with patients and vice versa. I also developed a sub-project that allows for residents along the Okanagan Rail Trail to donate and receive items.

Squid Game Robot

This project recreates the Red Light, Green Light game inspired by Squid Games. It leverages the YOLOv8n model and is designed to run on a Raspberry Pi or a local device. The project not only serves as an interactive game but also demonstrates real-time video processing and human motion detection.
